Delivery

I have come up with a concept for the new WEBSITENAME website. At the bottom of this email are some notes on the considerations and thinking behind the design of the layout. The purpose of this initial concept is to get the website off the starting blocks by creating a dialogue between us about how we see your website developing. We generally find that it is far easier to look at something and say “That’s Great” or “That’s not what want” rather than starting with a blank canvas. This concept isn’t final, it is the starting point.

At this stage I usually say have a look at the design and show it around the office to your colleagues and gather feedback about the look and feel. When you have collated constructive feedback, we would invite you to come to the offices here to work on your design with a designer in real time. Many of our clients that have been through this process have found it to be both interesting and enlightening, and we usually are able to work to a point where the client is completely happy with the design by the end of the session.

That said, we often get positive feedback resulting in us making some minor changes to the concept sign off over the phone.

With the design concept ‘signed off’, we then start the actual coding of the website, at which stage we would also like you to work towards completing the copy/content you have been writing for the website. This is so that once we have finished the build, the content is ready to be placed on the website, and we can finalise the website at the earliest possible opportunity.

A link will then be sent to you showing the real site. This will be so that you can view the website and if necessary point out any final adjustments (e.g. paragraph layouts). Once you are happy for the site to go live we will then ensure that it is properly optimised for your marketplace and submit it to all the major search engines (e.g. Google). At this point, the website will be fully ‘live.’

The following link takes you to screen mock ups of how the website would look when it is coded in HTML. These images are rather large but when the website is actually built it will load much faster. To go to the next slide in the series, simply click the centre of the concept.
